Frequently Asked Questions

We want to hear from you!

What is the typical time frame to bring a new diagnostic or molecular sensing product to market?

It depends on the product. Assay development can range from 6 months for tests in non-clinical markets, and up to two years for complex IVD tests. Of course, our team is happy to work with you to ensure we are as efficient as possible and leveraging all resources to make the process as smooth and fast as possible.

Do I need to have in-house LAMP expertise?

No. Our partnership program can be structured in a number of ways to fit your needs. We can work together and use our in-house Assay Development Group to develop the assay, or we have dedicated specialists to provide technical assistance if you choose to develop the assay externally. Once we confirm our partnership, you will be granted access to our Partner Portal, which contains all of the information needed to guide you through the entire process.

How much does it cost to partner with Alveo?

Again, this depends on the product and partnership type. We will provide a quote once we assess the scope of the project so we are all on the same page.

What geographies do you partner with?

We currently work with a number of partners internationally and are excited to expand the impact of our revolutionary technology into new parts of the world.

I’m not part of the IVD, veterinary, agricultural, or industrial markets. Can I still contact Alveo about a potential partnership?

Absolutely! We are happy to explore potential applications of our technology and how we can make a difference across all markets.

How involved is Alveo in external assay development?

Alveo will provide different levels of assistance and internal resources depending on the type of partnership. All projects, however, will have a dedicated Alveo program manager and consultation hours to provide guidance and technical support.
